Terms of Service
Last updated: 3 October 2026
These terms govern your use of Karinda AI (the "Service"). By creating an account you agree to them on behalf of yourself and the business you represent ("you").
1. The Service
Karinda lets you add an AI assistant to your website. The assistant answers visitor questions using content from your website and information you provide, and collects leads that visitors choose to share.
2. Your account
- Provide accurate information and keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- Only add the assistant to websites you own or are authorised to manage, and only ask it to index content you have the right to use.
3. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service to: break any law; send spam; collect sensitive personal data (such as health, financial or government ID data) through the assistant; give regulated professional advice (medical, legal or financial) through the assistant; mislead visitors about who they are talking to; or attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer or overload the Service.
4. AI output
The assistant generates answers automatically and may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for the information you provide to it and for reviewing how it represents your business. Visitors are told they are chatting with an AI assistant.
5. Your data
You own your content, conversations and leads. You grant us the rights needed to host and process them to provide the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Addendum. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect visitor data on your website and for any privacy notice your website requires.
6. Plans and payment
Paid plans are billed in advance in the currency shown at checkout and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period. Taxes may apply.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available and secure but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may change or discontinue features with reasonable notice.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend accounts that breach these terms or put the Service or others at risk. You may delete your account at any time from the dashboard; we then delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is", and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. General
We may update these terms and will notify you of material changes. If any part is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
